DRIVING GROWTH BY CELEBRATING PEOPLE AND PLACE

Maury County, Tennessee

As one of Tennessee’s fastest-growing counties, Maury County has seen an influx of new people along with billions of dollars in economic investment over the last few years. In response to this growth, the Maury County Chamber & Economic Alliance (Maury Alliance) commissioned a talent attraction campaign to promote the County’s job opportunities and high quality of life.

The campaign — “We’re Ready” — focuses on how and why Maury County is positioned to welcome, hire and support new residents, as well as spark innovation, grow small businesses and offer unique cultural, recreational and educational opportunities.

Red Window worked with the Maury Alliance team to conceptualize and launch the campaign, which includes messaging development, a new website, a launch video, original photography, social media support and ongoing content development.

Each aspect of the campaign showcases the people who have helped make Maury County what is today. They are featured in the visuals and they are central to the stories that are being told as part of the campaign.

As Maury Alliance President Wil Evans said, “Maury County is desirable because of the people who are already here. This campaign celebrates that while talking about the future and explaining why we’ve become this ideal place to work and live.”

Our team didn’t tell these stories from afar. Instead, we spent time in Maury County, getting to know the place and its people. We also conducted a series of stakeholder interviews to get to know how community leaders, business owners, parents, retirees and young people think about Maury County.

“We hope this campaign will spread the word about Maury County and encourage more people to consider making this community their home,”said Travis Groth, Maury Alliance economic development director.

The video RWC created for us served as the launch of our talent recruitment campaign and highlights all that is great about our community and sharing what “community” really means.
We use it all the time to recruit new talent to the area. We are ready!
