Video Content Producer

FULL TIME | 2+ YEARS EXPERIENCE | OXFORD, MS

We are seeking a team member to expand our capacity for video production as an integrated component of our clients’ communications and campaigns.

The Video Content Producer will work under our Director of Video to create compelling videos for use across multiple platforms, to tell our clients’ stories and advance their goals. Reflecting our roots in journalism, we’re looking for someone who is innately curious, listens well and understands how to make content that people want to watch and listen to. Excellent technical skills and post-production capabilities are a must.

The Video Content Producer brings expertise and experience in creating tightly crafted videos that inform, engage and excite audiences. He or she works collaboratively to bring account strategy to life, conveying each client’s message through the medium of video.

YOUR ROLE

Can you:

  • Fully produce (plan, shoot, light and edit) videos suited for social media, websites, trainings, presentations, digital ads and campaigns?

  • Creatively communicate stories focused primarily on people?

  • Achieve technical quality on-set while helping non-actors feel comfortable in front of a camera?

  • Confidently provide on-set direction to clients and other team members?

  • Balance your vision as a creative with an ability to adapt to styles appropriate for a diverse range of client types?

  • Listen well to understand the core of what the client wants to accomplish?

  • Produce high-quality work while meeting strict deadlines?

  • Aligning with the Director of Video’s priorities for workflows, assignments, timelines, content and quality.

  • Communicating and collaborating with team members on pre-production planning, scripting and logistics.

  • Working on-location to light and shoot high-quality video.

  • Running post-production, from initial editing and client revisions to platform-specific formatting and final delivery.

  • Understanding and offering new ways to use video to advance client goals and strategy.

  • Guiding and training interns and other team members to assist as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excellent command of the English language

  • Careful attention to detail

  • Portfolio demonstrating experience that aligns with the job description

  • Excellent technical capabilities in lighting, shooting and editing

  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, with advanced capabilities in PremierePro and AfterEffects
