Payton Thornton

Marketing Coordinator

Payton brings a background in marketing and communications, along with a strong foundation in photography and public relations.

Before joining the team, Payton gained hands-on experience with the Oxford Police Department, where she served as a Public Information Officer intern, and with Thacker Mountain Radio Hour as a marketing intern. In these roles, she supported communications efforts, captured events with her photography, assisted with marketing initiatives, and gained practical experience working with content, media, and community outreach.

As marketing coordinator at Red Window, Payton assists with a range of communications and marketing projects. She supports digital marketing efforts, contributes to campaign coordination, and works with the team to ensure messaging is clear and consistent across platforms. She also brings strong photography skills that support visual storytelling for clients.

Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Payton is a graduate from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications. She also earned a minor in Business and a specialization in Public Relations.

In her free time, Payton enjoys spending time with her fiancé and her German shepherd and traveling to visit family.
